I never do it, i only installed and installed and installed new plugins.
You've to go in Help -> Software Updates -> Manage Configuration
Selecting this menu item opens the
Distributions Configuration dialog. You can now expand the plugin tree, to see all the installed component. Click the mouse right button on a plugin and select disable (or uninstall, if you want to delete the plugin from your machine).
